Current Opening: Interior Designer / Social Media Manager
This is a collaborative role where you’ll manage all aspects of projects—from client onboarding to the final install—while also contributing to our social media presence. We’re looking for someone who pushes themselves daily to create beautiful, thoughtful designs and strives to get better every day.

JOB DESCRIPTION, INLCUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Work directly with clients to design their new build or renovation projects in alignment with the Jessen Interiors | Organic Luxury Living brand.
- Design model/spec homes with the intention of exceptional design while managing budgets
- Create floor plans, elevations, and construction documents in Chief Architect.
- Create specification sheets
- Plan and render architectural and design details
- Communicate effectively with vendors, contractors, and clients.
- Manage project details and timelines in Asana and maintain strong team communication.
- Source fabrics, finishes, and hard surfaces.
- Coordinate and participate in installs—including lifting and moving boxes/furniture as needed.
- Anticipate and adapt to the fast-changing demands of the interior design industry.
- Predict trends and stay ahead of industry shifts.
- Contribute to social media content creation in collaboration with the team.
- Read and understand blueprints and construction documents
- Procurement: order tracking, inspecting, and receiving
- Scheduling meetings, installs and creating project timelines
- Weekly project updates
- Pack up model homes
- Managing budgets
- Inventory tracking and organization
- Creating client presentations and design boards
QUALIFICATIONS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- 1–3 years of professional design experience in a design firm or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of Chief Architect.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills—knowing when to ask for support.
- Strong sense of urgency and meeting deadlines
- Extreme attention to detail
- Strong project management skills.
- Familiarity with fabrics, finishes, and industry standards.
- Positive, energetic, collaborative attitude with the ability to take direction well.
- Working knowledge of Google Sheets and Canva.
- Understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- Passion for design and the brand
- Eager to learn and evolve
- Strong knowledge of budget management
- Maintain professionalism and represent the brand
- Strong organizational skills
NON-NEGOTIABLES:
- Must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week from our office
- Work independently, have reliable transportation, owns a cell phone (apple products preferred)
- Lift heavy boxes for installation days
- Ability to travel where required
